The iconic Martin Building, designed by Gio Ponti in 1971 and formerly known as the North Building, houses more than 70k pieces spanning centuries throughout different regions on earth; its breathtaking architecture makes it one architectural wonder you don’t want to miss out on.

In 2018, The iconic Museum started undergoing a transformational $150 million renovation to unify the campus and revitalize its original structure. The project included new exhibition spaces, two dining options for visitors of all diets (including vegetarian offerings), as well an interactive welcome center where you can learn about everything that’s going on around here.

The new Duncan Pavilion is a perfect location for hosting weddings, events, and meetings. It’s also family-friendly, with plenty of space to accommodate kids in addition to the museum’s newest exhibit on display: In 2007, the museum added an exciting second-story expansion that gave it even more room than before. The Bach Wing now has two wings instead of one. To accommodate the bridge traffic from its new building, designers created a 5.7 thousand square foot addition to be kids- and family-friendly while also suitable for multi-use events like the museum’s Untitled Final Friday series or wedding receptions.

The beautiful Denver Art Museum is proud to present its new Sie Welcome Center, which Anna and John J.Sie funded in honor of their generous donation towards this major transformation project. The round glass-clad building designed by Machado Silvetti and Fentress Architects will be utilized as an entry point into the Martin Building and serve primarily function within ticketing operations so visitors can purchase tickets before entering any exhibitions or events at DAM’s other destinations.
