Meow Wolf’s newest installation, a 90k square foot space in Denver area called The Store at Fox Street Mall, has been their largest to date, and it feels like an art museum one minute, then becomes a haunted house or even film set seconds later. This organization is famous for its immersive installations that are both contemporary but also have hints from older traditions with old-world aesthetics mixed into them, which create this unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Imagine a universe where you can travel to different dimensions through the use of quantum transportation stations. This is exactly what Convergence Station has done; it connects four alien worlds as part of QDOT (the Quantum Department). The name may sound intimidating, but novices will find plenty here that they’ll love. Meow Wolf is a nonprofit organization that commissions artists from all over the country to create installations. The San Diego-based artist collective has developed into one of Meow’s most popular projects, showcasing 79 unique pieces on four floors with more than 110 collaborating local participants.
Denver’s Space Cathedral booking is a must for any visitor to the city. Visitors will be blown away by its Ice Planet space cathedral, hidden catacomb passageways, and trash-filled urban landscapes. There are also alien bodegas pizza parlors tackling big issues such as accessibility or Indigenous rights, among other things that make this place so unique; though it may seem like an Instagrammable scene from a futuristic movie set, there’s more than meets the eye when you scratch beneath these tableaus surface.

You can definitely tell which spaces are most popular among social media influencers: The pastel sloth statue in Numina and her red couch face off against a precariously stacked wall of books, for one example; or how about an organ playing at Kaleidogothic Cathedral?
Meow Wolf has a youthful and trendy vibe that can be seen in the space. This particular location isn’t located within Denver’s museum district, so it may not seem like your typical spot for influencer selfies, but there are definitely some spots where you’ll see people taking pictures with their phones before heading off to another destination.
The gift shop has some seriously cool apparel, patches, and magnets based around various fictional businesses. For example, there is the Motocross Jersey inspired by Mijo MiHome Cyber Cafe, or maybe you want to buy a baseball t-shirt featuring characters from Pizza Pals Playzone. A lot of people who love science fiction will be able to find something they like here because this place includes books that explain how certain stories were told in medieval times until nowadays.
