Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park

Situated at 13725 Marine Ave, St. Louis, MO 63146, Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park is more than just a place to enjoy the outdoors. The stunning views that it offers are unmatched, with lush trees standing tall throughout its vast expanse and Creve Coeur Creek meandering through on its way from Maryland Heights. Whether your preference lies in fishing or hiking, there’s plenty for everyone at this amazing Missouri park. The beautiful Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park is the largest park in St. Louis County and includes an 8-kilometer long, narrow natural lake that’s one of only two lakes containing unique types of fish-the other being White Clay Creek Reservoir near Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Creve Coeur Park is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The facilities offer everything from tennis courts to multi-purpose athletic fields, as well as an archery course that can be open year-round due to its climate control design. In 2004, construction was completed on the Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Bridge, which connects Missouri Route 364 to this beautiful park. In Creve Coeur Park, there are tennis courts, multi-purpose athletic fields, and an archery course. The 18-hole Crystal Springs Quarry Golf Course opened in 2001, which includes the new bridge.

The concrete bridge connects St. Louis County to its southern neighbor, Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park; it crosses over the end of this popular park where you can enjoy a walk or bike ride along smooth pavement around an asphalt trail maintained by MoDOT (Missouri Department of Transportation). The construction project also included dredging and adding siltation lakes so that no later work would be needed.

The Katy Trail, which is also linked to this park, offers an easy way to explore the vast wetland landscapes of Missouri. The 2-mile trail connects with a separate lane on bridges across various rivers, allowing users access to otherwise inaccessible areas for wildlife observation and study. This means that if you’re feeling adventurous, there’s always room in your backpack.

Visitors can enjoy a day outdoors at Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park. The 3.8-mile loop trail around the lake is perfect for biking, running, or walking and features beautiful views from both land and water. There are also plenty of spray fountain play areas to keep kids entertained while adults take in their surroundings too. A great way to enjoy your time outside during warmer weather will be by renting either bikes (for road lovers), kayaks or canoes (to explore boat access on the Missouri River), or paddleboards—whichever you choose, there’s no wrong choice here because all three provide fantastic wayside adventure.
